Boa, Portugal, continua...
Nas palavras de Manuel António Pina:
"Só nos faltava esta: uma ministra da Cultura para quem divertir-se com o sofrimento e morte de animais é... cultura. Anote-se o seu nome, porque ele ficará nos anais das costas largas que a "cultura" tinha no século XXI em Portugal: Gabriela Canavilhas. É esse o nome que assina o ominoso despacho publicado ontem no DR criando uma "Secção de Tauromaquia" no Conselho Nacional de Cultura. Ninguém se espante se, a seguir, vier uma "Secção de Lutas de Cães" ou mesmo, quem sabe?, uma de "Mutilação Genital Feminina", outras respeitáveis tradições culturais que, como a tauromaquia, há que "dignificar".

Diz-se que Canavilhas toca piano. Provavelmente também fala Francês. E houve quem tenha julgado que isso basta para se ser ministro da Cultura..."

Mas o que vem a ser isto?
I HAVE A DREAM
Quero ter o meu atelier. Fisicamente imagino-o com janelas grandes e uma estante de livros, não muito mais que isto. As burocracias que isto implica são muitas, sei isto e ainda nem comecei a procurar. E porquê? Porque é que não posso fazer o que eu quiser, dentro das minhas quatro paredes? Porque é que o dinheiro é uma prioridade na ideia? Não. Eu tenho um sonho, e é o mesmo que o do Martin Luther King: liberdade e igualdade.
O meu atelier vai existir. Nem que tenha de desenhar céu na parede em frente à minha secretária.
Hoje assisti a um seminário sobre sustentabilidade, de micro-efeito OFFF, onde falaram sobre o livro "Why is the artist Poor?" - i could relate. Trabalhamos por amor à coisa, trabalhamos de graça se tiver de ser, desde que a nossa ideia passe. Porque é que o mundo não funciona à base de borlas? Pergunto, do fundo da minha ignorância, para que raio existe um sistema económico no mundo? Não vivíamos bem com as galinhas e as batatas? Porque é que de repente o dinheiro controla a vida? É só um bocado de papel...
Entristece-me grandemente que a vida seja assim. O mundo está para acabar e a última coisa que vamos fazer é agarrar na carteira, atirar uma pedra à montra da loja de televisões e levar uma connosco para o infinito? O mundo está para acabar, mentalizem-se.
Não esperem que o computador resolva tudo o que é ambiental, que é isso que vai acabar connosco. Dramático o suficiente? Óptimo.
